If you have purchased modules (Bibles, Commentaries or other books) in the Online Bible app on your old Mac, these purchased modules will not automatically appear in the Online Bible on your new device. This is also the case during a complete reinstallation. This also applies to Premium users/Subscribers, even then the modules do not appear automatically. This is due to the way the App works.

How do you solve this?

  1. You must first install the Online Bible app on your new device from the App Store, of course.

  2. Then, at the bottom of the left-hand window, you need to log in with your Online Bible account with which you made your purchases on your old device, c.g. with your Online Bible account if you are a Premium user/Subscriber.nFor more information about your account, see the following article: An Online Bible account

  3. Once that has succeeded, your app ‘knows’ that you are entitled to certain modules, however, they do not automatically become visible: after all, they have not yet been downloaded on your new Mac. This is because the premise is that you don't always want everything on every device. So you choose what to install on each device.

  4. In the Store at the bottom of the left-hand window, however, you no longer see a price by a particular title but ‘Download’, and you can now install the modules one by one by clicking the ‘Download’ button. This may take a while, but you can also start with the modules you use most often and download the others later. If you cannot find a module: in the shop you can scroll not only from bottom to top but also to the left and right.

  5. If the modules still show a price to which you are entitled, you are not (yet) logged in with your correct account. Sometimes it also helps to switch off the Online Bible app completely and switch it on again or to log out and log in again. (Sometimes it takes a while for the link to be established, try again after an hour?)
